When do these terms apply?
By accessing or using EasyMap, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Users who are not legally able to accept these terms should use the service only with appropriate guardian or institutional permission.
Effective and last updated: July 24, 2026.
What service does EasyMap provide?
EasyMap provides browser-based tools for matching same-level geographic data, styling statistical maps, and exporting figures. It is a communication and lightweight analysis tool, not a professional surveying, navigation, emergency-response, cadastral, or legal-boundary service.
What are users responsible for?
You are responsible for having the right to use the data you enter, checking matches and values, reviewing the finished map, and keeping appropriate backups. Do not use EasyMap to process or publish unlawful, infringing, malicious, or unnecessarily sensitive content.
Who owns the software and content?
Original EasyMap software, interface design, brand material, tutorials, and original visual assets are owned by Humphrey. These terms do not transfer ownership. You may use maps you create for lawful personal, educational, research, presentation, and commercial purposes, subject to the rights attached to your input and the source notes on the Map Data page.
Can an exported map be published without review?
Not always. Boundary content, required approval numbers, attribution, or map-review rules may depend on the map, location, audience, and jurisdiction. Users must verify the current requirements before public distribution. EasyMap does not provide legal approval or certify that every user-edited map is suitable for publication.
Is uninterrupted operation or perfect accuracy guaranteed?
EasyMap is provided on an “as available” basis. Features, data, labels, and projections may contain errors or change. Reasonable efforts are made to test the product, but uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, and fitness for every purpose are not guaranteed.
What are the limits of responsibility?
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Humphrey is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from user data, interpretation, publication, service interruption, or reliance on an exported map. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
How are changes and questions handled?
EasyMap may update the service or these terms. Material changes will be dated on this page. Questions can be submitted through the Contact page. These terms are governed by applicable law without creating a jurisdiction statement beyond what the law requires.
