Report the problem, not your private map data

Use the in-tool ticket form for product, privacy, ownership, and policy questions.

In brief

A useful report states what you selected, what happened, what you expected, and the browser used. Do not send confidential spreadsheet rows unless they are necessary and safe to share.

How should a product issue be reported?

Open Report a problem at the bottom of the map-making page. Choose interface, map data, export, suggestion, or another category. The ticket includes limited page context but does not automatically attach your table, uploaded file, or local history.

Open the map maker and support entry

What details help with diagnosis?

Include the map source, selected level or country, the action that triggered the issue, the expected result, the actual result, and the browser name. For a boundary or place-name issue, include the visible name and a reliable official source where possible.

What should not be included?

Do not include passwords, identity documents, payment details, private contact lists, confidential client data, or full datasets when a small neutral example can reproduce the issue. Remove personal information from screenshots.

How can a privacy or policy question be submitted?

Use the support entry on the map-making page and select the closest issue category. Only the information you choose to enter is sent.

When should a reply be expected?

The current service target is a reply within 24 hours and routine issue handling within 72 hours. These are operational targets, not guaranteed service levels. Complex map-data or browser-specific issues may require progress updates and more time.
